Obadiah Stane - Marvel's 'Iron Man'

Obadiah Stane – Marvel’s ‘Iron Man’

A lifelong friend of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his father, Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) first betrayed Tony by locking him out of his own company. He then stole the Iron Man blueprints and constructed a bigger, badder version of the already powerful suit. Both brain and brawn prove Iron Monger’s power, but it takes more than that to topple Tony.

Abomination - Marvel's 'Incredible Hulk'

Abomination – Marvel’s ‘Incredible Hulk’

No weapon in Thunderbolt Ross’ (William Hurt) arsenal could take down Hulk (Edward Norton), so he had to create one. With a combination of Super Soldier serum and a few special ingredients, Emily Blonsky (Tim Roth) transformed into a monstrous “Abomination.” This horrific creation remains one of Hulk’s most aggressive adversaries and their brawl leveled city blocks!

Frost Giants – Marvel’s ‘Thor’

Many threats exist in the Nine Realms, but few can compare to the sheer size of the Frost Giants. Add the power of freezing their enemies to their size, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) proves his wisdom by avoiding them unless absolutely necessary, and even when that happens, it takes the diplomacy of Odin (Anthony Hopkins) to settle the dispute.

Red Skull - Marvel's 'Captain America: The First Avenger'

Red Skull – Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’

A brilliant tactician and genius scientist, Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving) could have become one of the greatest minds the MCU has ever seen. Instead, Schmidt underwent a terrible transformation into the Red Skull, allowing him to form Hydra and plant the seed for the most evil organization in the entire Marvel Universe!

Loki – ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’

First appearing in “Thor,” Loki manipulated friends, family, and Asgardian royalty in hopes of carrying out his plans. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have only barely managed to contain his villainy and mischief, as his nefarious schemes also permeated Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World.”

Chitauri – ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’

Each of the Avengers proved that they could take down a Chitauri warrior in a one-on-one situation, but their endless numbers make these aliens so intimidating! In addition to their numbers, having beasts whose size rival skyscrapers make for unrelenting destruction. Well, unless you have a Hulk to stand up to them.

Thanos – ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’

A threat that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have yet to face head-on, Thanos (Josh Brolin) has limitless resources at his fingertips and he will happily aid anyone hoping to enslave anyone who proves their perseverance! When the Avengers finally clash with the Mad Titan, it will be a battle for the ages.

Malekith - Marvel's 'Thor: The Dark World'

Malekith – Marvel’s ‘Thor: The Dark World’

Taking a page from Loki’s playbook, Malekith’s (Christopher Eccleston) villainous legacy comes from his skills as a fiendish plotter, carefully orchestrating schemes to weaken Thor and his family. Once Malekith gains the power of the Aether, the Dark Elf becomes one of Thor’s most destructive adversaries!

Ronan – Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

A descendant of the powerful Kree race, Ronan (Lee Pace) has the advantage of super-strength, agility, and agility. His hammer-like armament, the Universal Weapon, assists in his eradications, and when combined with the Power Stone, it became an asset capable of destroying planets! Luckily, Ronan has no rhythm.

Ultron – Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

Tony Stark designed Ultron (James Spader) to help protect the planet. Ultron perverted that benevolent idea into the belief the only way to save the planet involved wiping humans from the face of it. Constantly evolving, adapting, and expanding, Ultron’s vigor rested in his resiliency, his cruelty, and his inhumanity.

Film features flagship coupe in stunning action original graphic novel designed for Lexus

Today, on the brink of the opening of Comic-Con International: San Diego, Lexus and Marvel have announced a collaboration to pair the first-ever 2018 Lexus LC with Marvel’s dynamic Black Panther character in the highly anticipated film, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, slated to hit theaters on Feb. 16, 2018.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, and starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o, the film follows T’Challa, who, after the events of Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King.

“Marvel continuously captures audiences through charismatic characters and inspiring stories — the ideal fit for Lexus’ mission to craft amazing, engaging experiences,” said Brian Bolain general manager, Lexus marketing. “And the LC’s aggressive styling, high performance and agile handling are a perfect fit for the Black Panther’s quick, cat-like reflexes and superhuman feats. We’re excited to see the duo in action.”

To accompany the collaboration between Lexus and Marvel, Lexus also teamed with Marvel Custom Solutions to create an original graphic novel, with storytelling driven by famed writer Fabian Nicieza and cover illustrations by emerging graphic artists Scott “Rahzzah” Wilson and Szymon Kudranski. Centered around the balance between human and machine, the comic features the Lexus LC 500 with a new, Wakandan spin and its role in helping the Black Panther defeat a legendary villain.

Lexus and Marvel will celebrate their collaboration during Comic-Con after-hours at an exclusive Black Panther-themed event on Friday, July 21, with special performances by DJ Lulo Café and a surprise headliner. During the invite-only event, six variant covers for the graphic novel will be revealed to industry guests and comic enthusiasts.

“This campaign clicked from the get-go,” said Mindy Hamilton, Marvel’s SVP of global partnerships. “We have this bold, sophisticated hero stepping into the spotlight for the first time, and it’s been a blast to work with the Lexus team to build out a story that’ll familiarize fans with T’Challa as well as his advanced home nation of Wakanda.”

Lexus’ collaboration with Marvel is being coordinated by Lexus’ multicultural advertising agency, Walton Isaacson.

Ushering in a new era of design and engineering at Lexus, the LC 500 is expressive and stylish, with enhanced dynamic capability and performance. Additional information on the flagship coupe can be found here.

Thanos stands triumphant at the D23 Expo Marvel Studios booth.

After a full first day of D23 Expo you’d think we couldn’t follow it up with more, but Saturday was even bigger, and much, much, badder as Josh Brolin held court at the Marvel booth.

Fresh off his surprise appearance with the cast “Avengers: Infinity War” at the Disney, Marvel Studios & Lucasfilm- Live Action panel, Josh Brolin met with fans for a signing in front of his children — the Children of Thanos! The maquettes were unveiled for his appearance and fans were excited to get an up close look at Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, and Cull Obsidian.

Brolin even had an encounter with a real life Avenger, although this one was considerably shorter and much more adorable.

On the show floor the Disney Consumer Products Pavilion showcased new and exciting home products for fans to live their best Marvel life. On display were backpacks, workout gear, and if you’re worthy enough, a Mjolnir pendant made to compliment the mightiest of outfits. Even the greatest superhero would be exhausted from all that shopping, luckily free coffee was up for grabs adorned with the face of a familiar looking webslinger.
