Erik Oleson joins the Netflix original series as showrunner and executive producer.

True Believers, the battle for Hell’s Kitchen wages on.

Today, Marvel Television and Netflix announced that award-winning actor Vincent D’Onofrio will return to the highly-anticipated and critically-acclaimed Netflix original series “Marvel’s Daredevil,” reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, the powerful businessman whose interest in the future of Hell’s Kitchen brings him into conflict with attorney Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil.

D’Onofrio is joined by returning cast including, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson).

Additionally, Erik Oleson has joined “Marvel’s Daredevil” as showrunner and executive producer. Oleson was most recently head writer and Executive Producer of “Man In The High Castle.”

The third season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” is Executive Produced by series showrunner Erik Oleson (“Man In The High Castle” and Drew Goddard (“Cabin in the Woods”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” “Marvel’s Luke Cage”) and Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” “Marvel’s Luke Cage”). “Marvel’s Daredevil” is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

Plus stars Deborah Ann Woll & Elden Henson look forward to what's in store with Season 2!

Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson return to the streets of Hell’s Kitchen as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson in two new motion posters for “Marvel’s Daredevil” Season 2, along with a new interview with the stars! Check out both posters directly below, then keep scrolling to hear what’s in store for Matt’s integral supporting cast this season.

Karen and Foggy, Foggy and Karen–they back Matt Murdock on “Marvel’s Daredevil” but Ms. Page and Mr. Nelson stand as full characters in their own right, with their own troubles and challenges. Actors Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson understand those ups and downs and trust in the show’s creative group to explore them to greater depth in Season 2 of the series.

“I did have a conversation with [the producers] before we started [Season 2],” reports Woll, “but it was mostly for them to tell me what they were thinking [about Karen] and just sort of get my read on it. I think the main thing for me, was that sometimes I noticed in series you tend to have the same arc each season–you start over again–and I just wanted to make sure we built on what we had already established and continued to rise.”

“I just sort of leave it up to the professionals,” notes Henson. “It’s a world that I wasn’t very familiar with, you know? So [with] the reaction we got from the Season 1, I just sort of thought, ‘let me let them do what they do and try not to mess it up.’”

Karen Page’s background in the comics grew even darker as the stories progressed; does such an avenue intrigue Woll as material for the show?

“It intrigues me very much,” she admits. “I had a lot of conversations with the writers about what that might be because, obviously for my work, it gets changed based on what specifically we’re talking about, my performance. And so we have an idea of what we think that is and we hope to sort of tease that out for you guys at certain points.”

Foggy Nelson discovering Matt’s secret life as a vigilante changed the dynamic between the characters, a situation that Henson’s given some thought to as he moves forward with playing the neophyte attorney.

“I think the cool thing about these characters is that no matter what’s going on, the relationship is still one that’s highly valued by Foggy,” he says. “He really cares about Matt and really just cares about him being safe and his well-being. And obviously, it is going to change, I don’t want to give anything away as to how that happens, but all these characters, not just Foggy, are going to continue to grow and evolve in a really nice way that doesn’t feel like it’s just there to serve another character. It really feels like they’re each on their own journey.”

One aspect of Season 1 of “Marvel’s Daredevil” that viewers enjoyed centered on Karen and Foggy living their own stories while also serving the main story of Matt Murdock. Both actors hint that the same dynamic will apply to Season 2.

“We’re definitely involved in what’s happening in Hell’s Kitchen for Season 2,” Woll notes.

“The law firm we’ve created is still there and we’re still fighting for the people that don’t have a voice and trying to stand up for what’s right,” Henson adds. “Especially for Foggy, he loves Hell’s Kitchen. He loves the people there and so his main goal is to just, I think, keep things the same. He just wants his friends to be happy and to be around him.”
