Preview this brand new statue from Kotobukiya!

It’s been three years since the smash hit, “Guardians of the Galaxy,” where the galaxy was saved from Ronan the Accuser and the Kree fleet by a group of misfits and outlaws with nothing but pure will (and a little groove) on their side. From the long-awaited sequel, Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, comes the now infamous Star-Lord, a.k.a. Peter Quill, and the re-born Groot in 1:6 (ARTFX) scale!

Star-Lord is rendered in exacting detail (by referencing actual film assets) in a pose to blow you away with his quad blasters! You can enjoy various display options through the additional headpieces by switching out his helmeted head, or taking on and off his headphones. Groot now appears in his cute mini form, and can ride on Star-Lord’s shoulder or walk alongside him!

Your first look at statues based off the upcoming film!

Kotobukiya’s hit Marvel ARTFX+ series returns with Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” two mighty characters headlining a new collection — the star-spangled hero: Captain America and in a brand new armor suit… the Iron Man Mark 46. Fighting for freedom and his friends, Captain America heads into battle against his once ally and fellow Avenger, Iron Man. Captain America is the pinnacle of human ability, thanks to Super Soldier Serum, as he charges forward in his distinct uniform and famous shield — ready to strike for justice.

Looking like he just stepped off the big screen, with an incredibly accurate sculpt that captures all of the intricate details of his patriotic red, white and blue costume — including the reinforced armor, straps, buckles, boots, gloves and his “A” mask. The colors on his costume are muted but his iconic shield is vibrant with metallic paint, immediately catching your eye in your Marvel collection.

The latest sculpt of Tony Stark is the Iron Man Mark 46. It incorporates all of the brilliant inventor’s cutting edge innovations and is a perfect replica of the one you’ll see in the film. This brand new Iron Man suit is captured in a super cool battle pose, as the Armored Avenger lunges forward and steadies his right arm for a repulsor ray blast! A direct descendent of the previous suits like the Mark 43, the Mark 46 suit is a sleek war machine with interlocking armor plates, tons of technological details and his awesome chest-mounted arc reactor and trademark faceplate — all in gleaming red and gold with additional silver accents!

Sculpted by master artist Junnosuke Abe, Captain American and Iron Man each stand just over 7 inches tall and charge dynamically across a cracked and broken concrete battleground. While each Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” ARTFX+ Statue is an incredible display piece on its own, they’re even better together as their bases join to create an amazing battle scene! These latest additions to the Kotobukiya ARTFX+ series will be available for purchase in October 2016. For more from Kotobukiya, visit their website.

Preview this new collectible based on the highly anticipated film!

Kotobukiya last brought you full size ARTFX Iron Man armors from the movies with ‘Iron Man 3,’ and now they’re expanding your collection with one of the stars of the upcoming blockbuster Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron!’  In that film, Robert Downey Jr. reprises his born-to-play role of Tony Stark while cutting edge special effects bring his armored forms to life like never before.  If you’ve been keeping up, we last saw the Mark 42 armor in the last Iron Man film, and so naturally the next step in the Armored Avenger’s development is Age of Ultron’s Iron Man Mark 43!

Iron Man Mark 43 ARTFX Statue

Iron Man Mark 43 ARTFX Statue

In the Iron Man sequels and the first Avengers film we’ve seen Tony Stark continue to modify and improve his armors, with ‘Iron Man 3’ really showing off the range of possibilities in purpose-built systems.  In ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Iron Man returns to a more classically-inspired look with the Mark 43, similar in shape and size to the previous favorite Mark 42.  A direct descendent, the new version is a sleek machine with overlapping plates and a similar segmented look. The new Iron Man stands ready for battle in a classic pose with a slightly angled upper body, hands balled into fists at his sides and his armored head tilted downward ominously. The Mark 43 continues the red and gold color scheme the fans know and love but features a return to scarlet dominating the armor; gold appears mostly on the limbs, down the sides of the torso and of course on the faceplate.  Also like the previous armor, the Iron Man Mark 43 features the round Arc Reactor in its chest.

Sculpted by MIC, the Iron Man Mark 43 stands just over 11 inches tall (1/6th scale) on a special Avengers logo base. Just like the previous Iron Man films ARTFX Statues, the Mark 43 is loaded with incredible sculpted and painted details bringing the armored suit to life like never before.  Arriving later this year after the release of the film, the Mark 43 is sure to be the centerpiece of your Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ collection! Stay tuned to Kotobukiya’s website for more info!

Pick up these statues and recreate the epic fight as seen in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron!

Attention: True Believers! We’ve all glimpsed the epic showdown between the Hulkbuster Iron Man and the Green Rage Monster himself in the recent trailers for ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ but now preview the most anticipated fight in a whole new way. Straight out of this summer’s blockbuster sequel and into your living room, it’s the battle everyone has been talking about… presenting the Hulkbuster Iron Man and Hulk ARTFX+ Statues from Kotobukiya! These are two separate statues that when combined recreate one of the most iconic moments from the record breaking trailer for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’

Hulk and Hulkbuster Iron Man Statues from Kotobukiya

Hulk and Hulkbuster Iron Man Statues from Kotobukiya

The Hulkbuster is a specially designed upgrade to the Iron Man armor created by Tony Stark to combat the Hulk if he should go berserk and classified as the Iron Man Mark 44 armor, the Hulkbuster suit can really tear it up! The statue is based on its appearance in the film, and the huge armor looks as if it leapt straight off the screen. Iron Man strides forward to grapple with the green-skinned Avenger, leg pistons cranking and his right arm stretching out to make contact. The Hulkbuster takes it to a whole new level with a towering frame, thick armor plating and a stout shape. The highly detailed piece features all of the technological details of the Iron Man suit including surface armor, interior electronics, layered components, repulsor units, integrated weaponry and much more!

Don’t make him angry! The alter ego of gamma-irradiated Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, is an unstoppable titan of rage.  Unrestrained and fully unleashed, Bruce Banner has left the building and the Hulk is in control. The massive green-skinned monster hurtles into battle, thick legs pumping and his enormous hands squeezed into fists to pummel anything that tries to stop him. The Hulk stature conveys a huge presence with his heroic proportions and rippling physique that stands out with every muscle on display. This one monster army of an Avenger is fantastically detailed with intricate anatomy down to his sinews and veins, all topped off by a fierce facial sculpt that captures the character’s never-ending anger! This time around, thanks to some tinkering by the science brothers — Mr. Stark and Mr. Banner — the Hulk does things a little differently, wearing high tech red-striped purple shorts rather than his traditional ripped  and tattered bottoms.

Both statues are sculpted by the same master artist who was responsible for the Avengers Marvel Now series, the infamous Junnosuke Abe and are intricately crafted to perfection. The Hulkbuster Iron Man stands at a towering 11 ½ inches tall while the Hulk reaches 9 ½ inches (both in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale).  Both massive combatants stride across the field of battle, while destroying a brick street underneath their massive weight. While each of the Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ ARTFX+ is an incredible display piece on their own, they’re even better together… as you can join their bases to recreate the epic battle scene in this summer’s highly anticipated film. Stay tuned to Kotobukiya’s website for more!

Pick up this 1/7th scale Bishoujo figure of your favorite mutant pyrotechnic!

The Marvel Bishoujo collection, bringing you new interpretations of familiar superheroes and villains, continues with the perpetually youthful mutant and sidekick to Wolverine… Jubilee! First appearing in the pages of X-Men in 1989, Jubilation Lee was an orphan and runaway living in a mall when she ran into fellow mutant shoppers Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue and Storm. Following them to their base, the teen eventually signed on with the X-Men officially, becoming the youngest member and using her unique pyrotechnic powers to help save the day for decades until she became depowered (and subsequently a vampire). Jubilee’s most iconic look is now captured in a fantastic Bishoujo statue based on a new illustration by master artist Shunya Yamashita!

An awesome product of the late 80’s, Jubilee was a spunky young girl with a loud sense of style and all of that resonated with the fans and will again with this hot new statue. Jubilee stands a rocking pose, legs apart for balance and leaning slightly as she raises an arm into the air in preparation for unleashing a fiery display of plasmoids! The young mutant wears a hot update on her classic costume complete with blue high tops, jean short shorts with X logo belt, pink tube top, bright yellow jacket and shredded black gloves. Jubilee accessorizes that ensemble with an X pin on her chest, choker and pink sunglasses perched on her head. All of those details, as well as the heroine’s beautiful Bishoujo-styled face, are intricately sculpted and painted and look great on her!

Sculpted by Gotaro Takeuchi (Atelier Bamboo), Jubilee stands in 1/7 scale as she unleashes her mutant powers from the safety of your shelf. Add this rad young heroine to your Marvel Bishoujo Statue collection from Kotobukiya! And for even more from Kotobukiya, visit their website.

Pick up this new Kotobukiya statue of the cult favorite character!

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! While the Marvel Now Avengers series of ARTFX+ statues continues this year, Kotobukiya is taking a break from that line to capture this summer’s biggest movie star, Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket Raccoon! Rocket, a highly intelligent alien creature that resembles an anthropomorphic Earth raccoon, first debuted in Marvel Previews #7 way back in 1976 and has been a mainstay in the company’s “cosmic” books for years. On August 1st he will hit the big screen (voiced by Bradley Cooper) alongside Star-Lord, Groot and the rest of his pals in the blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy” film!

Rocket Raccoon ARTFX+ Statue

Rocket Raccoon ARTFX+ Statue

Rocket Raccoon is all business as he holds up an enormous futuristic cannon, carried into battle on the shoulder of his friend and ally Groot! The small but tough as nails creature stands on his hind legs, resting one clawed hand on Groot’s head while prepared to level his intimidating heavy weapon at any enemies who may still be standing. Rocket wears a slick orange and black spacesuit that contrasts nicely with his intricately sculpted brown fur, and the tree branch texture of his friend adds yet another element to this fantastic presentation. With his teeth bared in animalistic fury, the little Guardian of the Galaxy looks like he’s ready to leap off Groot and directly into the action!

Sculpted by Junnosuke Abe, Rocket Raccoon brandishes his sci-fi weapon as he stands on Groot’s shoulder. A snarling raccoon in a spacesuit holding a big gun and standing on the shoulders of a tree man, this ARTFX+ Statue is guaranteed to be a centerpiece in your collection!
