The two actors have been cast in the second season of the acclaimed Netflix series.

Marvel Television and Netflix have revealed two new cast members for the eagerly anticipated second season of “Marvel’s The Punisher.”

Corbin Bernsen (“American Gods,” “Psych”) will play the role of Anderson Schultz, an extremely wealthy man who’s grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he’ll implement less-than legal means to further those ends.

Annette O’Toole (“Cat People,” “Smallville”) has been cast as Eliza Schultz, a conniving, wealthy woman, cut from the same manipulative cloth as her husband, Anderson.

“We are delighted to have Annette and Corbin join the remarkable talent this season,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television, “Our audience will enjoy them in very unexpected but perfectly cast roles.”

O’Toole and Bernsen join previously announced Season 2 cast members Josh Stewart (“John Pilgrim”), Floriana Lima (“Krista Dumont”) and Giorgia Whigham (“Amy Bendix”), along with Season 1 returning cast members Jon Bernthal (“Frank Castle”), Ben Barnes (“Billy Russo”), Amber Rose Revah (“Dinah Madani”) and Jason R. Moore (“Curtis Hoyle”).

In “Marvel’s The Punisher,” former marine turned vigilante, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) aims to clean up New York City by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results.

The second season of “Marvel’s The Punisher” is Executive Produced by Steve Lightfoot, along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Daredevil,” “Marvel’s Jessica Jones”), and Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Luke Cage,” “Marvel’s Iron Fist”).

All 13 episodes of the first season of “Marvel’s The Punisher” are now streaming on Netflix.

Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima, and Giorgia Whigham all join the Netflix Original series.

New characters will be entering Frank Castle’s story, as a trio of actors have been revealed by Marvel Television and Netflix for Season 2 of “Marvel’s The Punisher,” with Josh Stewart (Insidious: The Last Key, Shooter), Floriana Lima (Lethal Weapon, The Family), and Giorgia Whigham (Scream, Sierra Burgess is a Loser) all joining the cast of the series.

Josh Stewart has been cast as “John Pilgrim,” a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle’s world.

Aghdashloo joins the upcoming Netflix series.

Academy Award nominated actress Shohreh Aghdashloo has a role in “Marvel’s The Punisher.”

Aghdashloo will play Farah Madini on the upcoming Netflix series. Farah is an Iranian by birth who has lived most of her life in the US, establishing a successful practice as a psychiatrist, while her daughter, Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), is a skilled Homeland Security agent.

This is the second time Aghdashloo and Revah have played mother and daughter – they previously worked together in 2009’s “House of Saddam,” which Aghdashloo won an Emmy for. That project also teamed them with producer Steve Lightfoot, who is now serving as showrunner on “Marvel’s The Punisher.” Aghdashloo was nominated for an Oscar for “House of Sand and Fog,” while her other credits include “24,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “The Expanse.”

Lightfoot (“Hannibal”) wrote the series’ first two episodes in addition to serving as showrunner and Executive Producer. The Netflix original series ‘Marvel’s The Punisher,’ which will stream globally on Netflix in 2017, has announced five additional cast members.

Daniel Webber (“11.22.63”) has been cast as Lewis Walcott, a young veteran who has had a difficult time re-assimilating into Civilian Society.

Jason R. Moore (“A Lonely Place for Dying”) joins as Curtis Hoyle, a friend of Frank Castle’s and one of the few people who knows he is alive.

Paul Schulze (“Nurse Jackie”) will play Rawlins, a high-ranking member of the CIA whose operations in Afghanistan intersect with Frank Castle.  

Jaime Ray Newman (“Bates Motel”) plays Sarah Lieberman, Micro’s wife (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) whose marriage has made her life far more complicated.

Michael Nathanson (“The Knick,” “Wolf of Wall Street”) has been cast as Sam Stein, a Homeland agent who is challenged by his partnership with Dinah (Amber Rose  Revah).

“We couldn’t have asked for a more talented group of actors to round out the cast of Marvel’s The Punisher,” said Executive Producer and showrunner Steve Lightfoot.   “It’s a thrill to watch them each bring their characters to life with such layered, nuanced performances.”

“Marvel TV is very proud of the cast of The Punisher,” said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb, “Each actors brings a special promise who surround Jon Bernthal’s exceptional performance.”

It was previously announced that Deborah Ann Woll (“Marvel’s Daredevil”) will reprise her role as Karen Page alongside Jon Bernthal, who stars as Frank Castle/The Punisher.
