The Armored Avenger and a trio of Guardians of the Galaxy are all part of the fun.
Boasting the largest collection of Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains ever assembled on a cruise ship, Marvel Day at Sea offers heroic encounters of epic proportions.
The Marvel Day at Sea sailings from New York City this fall marked the first official appearance of Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora and Groot on a Disney Cruise Line ship. They’ll soon be back when Marvel Day at Sea returns on select sailings from Miami this January through April.
When Tony Stark isn’t promoting the latest Stark Industries technology, he’s greeting guests and showing off his Iron Man armor. Don’t miss the chance to shake his hand before his big gala that night.
You may even run into some of your favorite Guardians of the Galaxy around the ship.
Just know that Gamora may not be very amused if Star-Lord kicks off an impromptu dance party! But you’ll have another chance to see the dance-loving Star-Lord get his groove on later in the evening at Fathoms nightclub, which turns into a Ravager hideout just for adults.
Iron Man and Groot are two of the Marvel heroes you are guaranteed a time to meet and take photographs with during the cruise. Before you even step onboard, you have the chance to reserve time with these characters and more under the My Disney Cruise section of www.disneycruise.com.
Want to see more of the Super Heroes and Villains you can encounter during Marvel Day at Sea? Stay tuned for another inside look later this week.
Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man, Star-Lord and Black Widow will be part of the fun!
Today at Comic Con in London, Vice President Franchise Creative and Marketing for Marvel Studios, Dave Bushore and Creative Director of Disneyland Paris, Mark Huffman announced that the Marvel Super Heroes are coming to Disneyland Paris in the summer 2018 from June 10 to September 30.
Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man, Star-Lord and Black Widow will appear for the first time exclusively at Disneyland Paris in summer 2018 in a special Marvel Summer of Super Heroes season. Your favorite heroes will be featured in the Walt Disney Studios Park for exciting meet & greets and breathtaking, epic shows.
But that’s not all for Marvel fans at Disneyland Paris. As first announced at D23 Expo this summer, Disneyland Paris is also re-imagining one of its Resort Hotels into a universe that would make Tony Stark proud. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will transport guests to the action-packed, inspiring world of Super Heroes including Iron Man, The Avengers, and Spider Man among others. Work on Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will begin in October of 2018 and it will open in 2020.
Stay tuned for more updates on Marvel Summer of Super Heroes.
The Guardians of the Galaxy member will be aboard the Disney Magic!
The premiere of Marvel Day at Sea is just around the corner! Marvel fans will want to join us as we count down to this epic celebration on select cruises aboard the Disney Magic.
In the coming weeks, we’re featuring some of the mighty Marvel Super Heroes you can meet onboard during the daylong event, giving you insights into who they are and how you can get some face time with them.
Today, we’re looking at one of the Guardians of the Galaxy… the man they call Star-Lord!
This. Is. Awesome! Star-Lord will be joining his interstellar friends, Gamora and Groot, on Marvel Day at Sea voyages, launching this fall aboard select Disney Magic cruises. This will be the very first time you can meet Star-Lord on a Disney ship.
Young Peter Quill is abducted from Earth by the Ravagers, a group of space pirates, and grows up to assume the mantle of Star-Lord. He is a master strategist and problem solver who has extensive knowledge of various alien customs and cultures. Star-Lord teams up with Gamora, Groot, Drax and Rocket to form the Guardians of the Galaxy and traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos, finding adventure at every turn.
You may see Star-Lord swagger around the ship or catch a photo with one of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Your adventures continue as you join these interstellar outlaws for an evening celebration in Fathoms nightclub, now a Ravager hideout. See the dance-loving Star-Lord get his groove on and you, too, can move to the music of the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. Leave your Walkman at home, we’ll bring the mixtape.
Stay tuned to meet more Super Heroes assembling for Marvel Day at Sea, which premieres on select 7- and 8-night Disney Cruise Line sailings from New York this fall, and returns on select 5-night Western Caribbean cruises from Miami in early 2018.
